Winter things

Merry Christmas! I hope your Christmas shopping is done or close to being done; Christmas is 13 days away! If you see any of the students who served in the production this weekend, be sure to encourage them - they did great! As the year is wrapping up and about to begin, there are several things to keep on your radar!

Tacky Christmas Party

This Wednesday is our Tacky Christmas party. We will worship, read the Christmas story and vote on the most tacky sweater! Please encourage your student to be involved and invite a friend!

Birthday Party for Jesus

This coming Sunday, the 18th, is our Birthday Party for Jesus! This is a time when Sunday School classes celebrate together the birth of our Savior. This is simply a breakfast. The Roc is covering sausage biscuits and each Sunday School class is responsible for certain things. Responsibilities are as follows:

HS Girls - Fruit

MS Girls - Fruit

HS Guys - Donuts

MS Guys - Drinks

All Rock Sunday School classes will meet together for this!

Rock Sweatshirts

We are doing a new run of the Rock sweatshirts! You can find the the colors in the PDF attached to the form HERE. (*Stock has been very finicky. Please be flexible and patient if sizing availability changes.) Sweatshirts are $15. We will hold the orders until we have a sufficient amount to order!

Refuel '23

REFUEL IS SOON APPROACHING! MLK weekend is right around the corner. The deadline for Refuel sign-up is January 1st. We will be leaving Friday the 13th at 5PM. We will return home Monday the 16th around noon. We will be going to Chatsworth, GA to Fort Mt. Retreat Center. This is a Middle and High School trip. The cost is $150. Please sign-up HERE. There are several add-ons that cost extra that you can choose to do on the registration form. You do not have to do anything extra. To keep the cost lower, I chose to let them be chosen on a per-student basis instead of make everyone pay for things they may not participate in. If they opt to do no extra activities, there will still be plenty to do. We view Refuel not only has a bonding and discipleship opportunity but also, an evangelistic opportunity. Please invite other students you may know and encourage your students to be inviting their friends to go with us! You can find the packing list as well as the info sheet HERE.
