Happy Sunday! I hope you have enjoyed the perfect weather today!
Just a few things to catch up on this week.
Wednesday night was awesome! We continued our series working through the book of Luke. The focus last week was on Luke 5:33-6:11. Jesus has brought the new... we do try to live in a way that earns our standing before God. Now that Jesus had come, the Law was obsolete, it no longer worked. Just like the Pharisees and disciples of Jesus' day we have to decide for ourselves if we are going to embrace the work of Christ or if we are going to attempt to attain our righteousness before God through "doing good." Jesus' message to the Pharisees and to us is that He is the only way. It has been really great following Jesus in his ministry and we have a ways to go!
